Don Imus Fired!
Don Imus got fired today. And I have heard all kind of different views about it. But basically it boils down to being a bunch of being "Politically Correct" bullshit. And there isn't enough other news to go around, so they have to make some. Do I think Imus should have been fired? Hell nah. Am I a fan and watch/listen to his show? Nope. But you hear shit like bitches,ho's,sluts, and all kinds of other stuff is popular music today. Is that wrong too? No, it's not. It's artist express of what they want to say. And all the PC bullshit, because you are afraid you will offend somebody is just fucked up. Go back and listen to some Redd Foxx and people like that. He made fun of everybody, white, black, asian..And all in good fun. Did those chicks on that basketball team look like Nappy headed ho's? No, but if they did, I wouldn't be afraid to say they did, and no one else should either. I can't understand not using the "N' word, because of the deep rooted hatred that goes along with it. But damn it's like you can't even laugh if your white when you hear Redd Foxx say it, without being called a racist. And as much as I hate Rosie O' Donnel, they made that Ching chong, bing bong or whatever she said way more than it should have been. And if you don't know Mandarin, or Cantonese, then it does sound like that. It's a hard language to learn. But it wasn't just chinese complaining, it was alot of different asian groups. Thai, Japanese, filipina. And those languages doesn't sound anything like that. Black Comedians get up and say all kinds of crazy shit about white people, and yeah the shit is funny. But if a white person says anything close to offending somebody, it's like they might as well have burned a cross, and put on that stupid looking KKK hood and sheet. And it's bullshit. What Kramer got up on stage and said was fucked up, being that was a rant, and insult. And he is lucky he even able to get off stage without getting his ass beat. But what Imus said was completely different. And they had to make this big ass media deal about it. When you can turn on the radio and hear that all day long. Watch tv and hear shit like that all day long. Hip Hop music is not a passing fad like some people though it was going to be. These people are artist that work hard at a craft and prefect those skills to give the world good music. And it is here to stay. But when it becomes part of main stream culture like it has, then when someone says something that takes from that, and it's not PC, they get fired. Umm what? Did Imus cross the line? No, he didn't. Cause the Nappy headed ho's are not on the Rutgers womens basketball team. They are on the Auburn womens basketball team..Roll Tide!..

The ending to Training day
I love this movie. At the end, it's like a king losing his kingdom. The people he thought he ruled and controlled. A really awesome movie. If you get a chance you should check it out
